Church of Nativity
An ancient church built over a grotto believed to be the site of Jesus’s birth. It holds immense significance for Christians worldwide. The church’s origins trace back to around 326 AD when it was commissioned by the Roman emperor Constantine I and his mother, St. Helena. The Church of the Nativity is the oldest church in the Holy Land and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012.
